Parent–Teacher Interaction for B.Tech First-Year Students

The Department of Engineering, Sciences & Humanities organized a Parent–Teacher Interaction (PTI) on Saturday, 4 April 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the 3rd Floor, Academic Block B. The event provided a valuable platform for meaningful engagement between parents and faculty members, fostering collaboration to support students’ academic progress.

During the session, parents met Class Counsellors and Subject Teachers to review their ward’s attendance, performance in internal assessments, classroom participation, and overall development. Faculty members offered constructive feedback and tailored guidance to help students enhance their academic performance and maintain consistency. Special attention was given to students with three or more subject backlogs in the First Semester End-Semester Exam, under the guidance of Dr. Smita Tolani, HoD, ES&H.

Parents actively participated, shared perspectives, and appreciated the department’s initiative to maintain transparent communication. Their engagement reflected a commitment to supporting their children’s holistic development and academic success.

The PTI recorded a total participation of 213 parents, indicating excellent turnout. The event was coordinated by Dr. Ashish Bodhaye and Mrs. Sayali Kanhav, with support from student volunteers and non-teaching staff. The efforts of all Class Counsellors significantly contributed to the smooth execution of the program, ensuring its success and reinforcing a strong parent–institution partnership.
