The Department of Information Technology, in collaboration with the Student Chapter of the Computer Society of India (CSI), successfully organized eSports Extravaganza 2.0 from 25th to 28th February 2026, featuring online eliminator rounds followed by a thrilling Grand Finale. The inter-college tournament included two popular esports titles, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Free Fire, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 47 teams comprising 188 players competing in squad-format matches. The event showcased exceptional gaming skills, teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship, creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere throughout the four days. In BGMI, Team RIZZ (CPC College, Nagpur) secured 1st place while NWA Esports (SVPCET, Nagpur) secured 2nd; in Free Fire, BROCODE ESP (BMCC, Pune) claimed 1st place and God of Battles (YCCE, Nagpur) secured 2nd place. The tournament concluded with an energetic prize distribution ceremony, successfully enhancing students’ strategic abilities, collaboration, and morale through an engaging and dynamic esports experience.
