Industrial Visit to Bajaj Engineering Skills Training Center, Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha
The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering organized an industrial visit to the Bajaj Engineering Skills Training Center at Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha on 21 February 2026 for Third Year students. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to modern industrial automation and smart manufacturing technologies.
The center focuses on skill development and hands-on training using industry-standard equipment and software. During the visit, students explored four major laboratories: Mechatronics, Motion Control & Sensor Technology, Robotics & Automation, and Industry 4.0 & Smart Manufacturing. Students observed electrical control panels, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and sensor-based automation. Demonstrations of PLC and HMI systems showed how industrial processes are monitored and controlled.
In the Robotics & Automation lab, students witnessed robotic arms performing pick-and-place operations, collaborative robots working safely with humans, and an automated assembly line system. The Industry 4.0 lab showcased IIoT-based monitoring, smart vision systems for quality inspection, and applications of AI and AR/VR in industrial environments.
The visit provided valuable insight into automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing. Students gained awareness of skill development opportunities, internships, and emerging technologies aligned with Industry 4.0 requirements.
The industrial visit was coordinated by Prof. Nishat Faizee and Prof. Dr. Avinash Lambat.
