The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), under the IGNITE Forum, organized an expert lecture on “Business Perspective and Management Practices in a Global Context” on 17th February 2026 at the institute premises. The session was attended by students and faculty members.

The lecture aimed to familiarize students with global business strategies and management practices in an international environment. The session was delivered by Mr. Matt Jarvis, Regional Manager, Durham University, UK, who shared insights into cross-cultural management, global industry expectations, and emerging business trends. He emphasized the importance of adaptability, strategic thinking, and leadership skills required in today’s competitive global economy.

The interactive session enabled students to engage in meaningful discussions and gain clarity on international education and global career pathways.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Pradnya Moon under the guidance of the CSBS Department. The lecture enhanced students’ understanding of global business environments and encouraged them to explore international opportunities in their professional careers.
