Faculty Development Program: EDU_MIND CARE

The Department of Civil Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Department jointly conducted the five-day EDU-MIND-CARE Faculty Development Program (FDP) from 9th February to 13th February 2026, focusing on mentoring, emotional well-being, digital wellness, and strengthening student support systems in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The programme comprehensively addressed contemporary challenges in the teaching–learning ecosystem, including stress management, cognitive fatigue, emotional regulation, digital de-addiction, strength-based mentoring, crisis intervention, adolescent counselling, and the development of structured mentoring frameworks aligned with NEP 2020.

The sessions were highly engaging and practice-oriented, incorporating case studies, interactive discussions, experiential learning activities, and action plan preparation to ensure effective institutional implementation. The FDP significantly enhanced faculty competencies in mentoring and counselling, thereby contributing to the creation of an emotionally resilient, student-centric academic environment. Total 35 faculty members participated in this 5 days Faculty Development Program.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Mithilesh Bhakre, Representative and Coordinator from MSFDA, Pune, and was effectively coordinated at the institutional level by Dr. Satish D. Kene, Dr. Suyog U. Dhote, and Prof. Priya Khobragde.
