The Department of Artificial Intelligence organized an expert session on the “Role of AI in Cybersecurity” on January 16, 2025, from 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM.  The session was organized for second- and third-year students, and a total of 95 students attended.

The session was conducted by Mr. Vaibhav Malgewar of VCF Cyber Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The session aimed to cover key topics such as the importance of cybersecurity, AI's transformative impact on cybersecurity, real-world applications of AI-enhanced cybersecurity systems, and how AI is revolutionizing threat management.

Students explored AI-driven threat detection and prevention, examined AI's role in responding to cyber threats, analyzed the challenges of integrating AI into cybersecurity, and discussed emerging trends shaping the future of the field.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Pinky Gangwani, with special thanks to Prof. Vikas Bhowate, Head of the Department, and the management for their continued support.
