The Department of Engineering, Sciences and Humanities hosted a guest lecture on 4^th February 2025, titled "Awareness of Core Companies' Requirements for Placement." This lecture was organized by Dr. Kirti Sahu, which aimed to guide B.Tech First-Year Electronics & Telecommunication students on the expectations of core companies in the recruitment process. The lecture focused on the skills, qualifications, and preparation strategies needed for securing placements in engineering, IT, and management sectors.

The objectives included to raise awareness about core companies' placement requirements, guide students on tailoring their skills to meet industry demands and provide insights into the recruitment process from an industry expert.

The guest speaker, Ms. Sejal Thakre, Senior Engineer at Synopsys Pune, shared her expertise in recruitment across core sectors. The session was highly informative, and students appreciated her valuable insights. The coordinator thanked Ms. Thakre for her contribution to the students' professional development.
