The Department of Electrical Engineering, St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology (SVPCET), Nagpur, in collaboration with Bedare Electronics Pvt. Ltd. (BENIX), organized a 5-day Hands-on Training Program on Siemens PLC & SCADA. This program took place from 30th January 2024 to 3rd February 2024, running daily from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Automation and Control Laboratory, Block A, SVPCET, Nagpur.
The training was conducted by Mr. Narendra Bedare, Director of Bedare Electronics Pvt. Ltd. (BENIX), and Mr. Kunal Onkar, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, SVPCET. A total of 18 students from various branches of engineering participated in this hands-on training, gaining valuable experience in Siemens S7-1200 PLC and TIA Portal V18.
Students had the opportunity to work on real-time problem statements and develop a deep understanding of automation systems. The successful completion of the program will enhance their employability in the automation industry.
This event effectively bridged the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements in PLC & SCADA systems.
