An expert lecture on "Introduction to Gen AI" was delivered by Mr Saurabh Shahare, Technical Architect at Infosys, on 7th December 2024, at 12:15 PM at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur. The session targeted first-semester students from the CSE-CS department, providing them with valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI.

Mr. Shahare introduced key concepts and discussed various applications of Generative AI, including content creation and its impact on industries. He emphasised the importance of ethical considerations in AI development, prompting students to think critically about technology's role in society. The interactive Q&A segment allowed students to engage directly with Mr. Shahare, enhancing their understanding of the subject.
