The Civil Engineering Department of St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur had organized a Parent-Teacher meeting on Saturday 16^th November 2024 in the Civil Engineering Department at 09:00 am. The main purpose of the meet was to provide a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to enrich the student’s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of students.

The formal function began with a welcome address by Prof. Sujin George, followed by talk by Dr. Abhay Hirekhan (HOD, Civil) where he briefed the overall view of Civil Department and spoke on the internships to be offered to the students. The toppers of 4^th semester and 6^th semester were felicitated with cash prizes by the hands of Dr. Abhay Hirekhan and Prof. Ram Kinhikar.   After the conclusion of the function, the parents were guided to a tour of the Civil Engineering department. Post the tour, they went to meet the respective class counselors and subject teachers, and discussed about the academic performance of their wards like class attendance, marks in continuous assessment test and about the overall discipline in the campus. The meeting concluded by distributing snack boxes to the parents and students as refreshment.  Overall, it was a healthy session between the parents and the teachers.
