Engineer's Day Celebration

St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, successfully hosted a grand National Level Engineers’ Day celebrations program on 19th October 2024. The event was centered around the theme, "Role of Engineering Institutions in Empowering Technology-Driven Systems," with the core objective of contributing towards the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). The celebration brought together a diverse group of over 200 delegates from industries and academia, alongside more than 1,000 students.

The highlight of the event was the esteemed presence of officials from AICTE and Maharashtra Skills University, along with over 35 Plant Heads and Centre Heads from renowned companies such as TCS, HCL, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Global Logic, JSW, Raymond, Indorama, and Ashok Leyland. These industry leaders were felicitated by the college in recognition of their contributions to technological advancement and skill development. This event also marked the closing of the 20th year of the foundation of the college.

The celebration also featured a dynamic Panel Discussion that explored key trends and challenges in technology-driven systems, with a focus on the role of engineering institutions in nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, a Startup Expo was organized to showcase innovative projects and ideas from emerging startups. Teams shortlisted for the Smart India Hackathon also presented their groundbreaking solutions, highlighting the talent and creativity of young engineers.

This event not only celebrated the achievements of engineers but also reinforced the importance of industry-academia collaboration in driving technological progress for a self-reliant India.
