Arduino in Automation

The Automation club of the Mechanical Engineering Department conducted a workshop “Arduino in Automation” under Mechmerise 2k24. In this workshop, students are exposed to both theoretical and practical aspects of Arduino.

Prof. Rohan Vaidya, In charge of the Institute's e-Yantra Lab, Assistant Professor, Industrial IoT Department was the resource person for this event. He has guided several teams that participated in various e-Yantra contests at IIT Bombay and were consistently ranked in the top ten.

The participants had hands-on training on working with Arduino, connecting sensors and actuators with Arduino which forms the base for automation.

After the event, a competition was conducted and the winning team was given the first prize.

This workshop was coordinated by Prof. Namrata A. Nagpurkar, Faculty Coordinator of the Automation Club, Mechanical Engineering Department.
