On 27^th September 2024, the Mechanical Engineering department had the privilege of hosting a guest lecture by alumna and industry expert Ms Keya Adyalkar, a Technical Content Developer at SolidCAM, Pune. The session, titled "Introduction to SolidCAM," was held for fifth and seventh-semester students from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM, coordinated by Mr. Anthony Augustine.

Ms. Adyalkar delivered an engaging presentation on the significance of SolidCAM in the field of computer-aided manufacturing. She highlighted the software's integration of CAD and CAM processes, showcasing its practical applications across various industries. Students were particularly interested in the real-life case studies she shared, which demonstrated the software’s impact on manufacturing efficiency.
