Mr. Vipin Hatewar, an alumni of Civil Engineering Department 2022 batch visited institution on 30 August 2024. Mr Vipin is pursuing MBA from IIM Nagpur, during his visit he interacted with the department students and delivered an expert talk on "How to get entry into IIM and other reputed Management institutions”. He mentioned preparation strategies for MBA entrance exams (e.g., CAT, GMAT, etc.) and shared tips on building a strong application, including essays, interviews, and profiles.

The goal of the event was to provide students insights into the MBA journey, career growth, and strategic decision-making for future opportunities. Alumni shared how an MBA can help civil engineers transition into managerial roles, business development, consulting, or entrepreneurship. They emphasized the importance of having both technical and managerial skills.

The interaction with alumni pursuing an MBA was highly beneficial for students, providing a comprehensive understanding of the MBA journey, its impact on career progression, and the necessary steps to pursue higher education in management. Students left the session with a clearer idea of how to plan for future studies and career growth.
