The Department of Information Technology, under the CSI Student Chapter, organized the event CODEQUEST on August 8th to assess and enhance students' programming skills. The competition was structured in two rounds. The first round, which saw the participation of 125 students, consisted of MCQ-based questions focused on C programming. This round tested the participants' foundational knowledge in programming. From this pool, 35 students qualified for the second round, which challenged them with pseudocode tasks, assessing their ability to effectively solve algorithmic problems. The event concluded with Mr. Vedant Jibhakate from the 3rd semester of IT emerging as the winner, while Ms. Shruti Titarmare from the 5th semester of IT secured the runner-up position. The competition successfully highlighted and cultivated the programming talents of the participants.
