On 29th August, 2024, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering - Cybersecurity collectively hosted an insightful Expert guest lecture on financial markets. It was delivered by Mr Swapnil Motghare, an Expert and Authorised Person at HDFC Securities, Nagpur. The lecture, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, gave 56 students of fifth- semester CSE-Cybersecurity an in-depth understanding of financial market dynamics and their intersection with cybersecurity.

Mr. Swapnil Motghare'’s presentation covered a range of topics, including investment strategies, market mechanisms, and the critical role of cybersecurity in protecting financial transactions. His expert analysis offered valuable knowledge to enhance the student's academic and professional pursuits.

The event was meticulously coordinated by Assistant Professor Anthony Augustine, the faculty coordinator and course teacher for Economics and Management. The active participation of the students, particularly the instrumental role played by Class representative and student volunteer Mr. Parth Bomanwar in managing the logistical aspects, contributed significantly to the overall success of the lecture.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Vedika Fulzele, who expressed gratitude to Mr. Motghare for his engaging talk and acknowledged the efforts of all those involved in organising the event.
