Visit to CEAT Tyre Plant

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a visit to the CEAT Tyre plant in Butibori on July 31st. The delegation included Fr. Siju Jose, Financial Administrator; Dr. S.S. Satputaley, HOD, ME; Dr. P.B. Lanjewar, Controller of Examination; Dr. V.C. Sontake, Workshop Incharge; and six other faculty members from the department. The primary objective of the visit was to strengthen the industry-institute relationship by enhancing student-industry interactions through visits and internships.

During the visit, the delegation toured the plant and observed the tyre manufacturing process, gaining valuable insights into industrial practices relevant to mechanical engineering.

The interaction between our faculty members and CEAT representatives was highly productive, fostering deeper engagement between our institute and CEAT. We are optimistic that this collaboration will build a solid foundation for mutual growth and benefit in the future.

The visit not only enriched our understanding of industrial processes but also reinforced our commitment to building meaningful partnerships with industry leaders like CEAT. We look forward to leveraging such interactions to further enhance academic and professional development.
