Department of Civil Engineering have successfully organized an Industrial Visit at "RDC Concrete, India Ltd." on 17-08-2024 for second and third year B-Tech students. The objective of this visit is to understand the process of Concrete manufacturing in field of Construction Materials, Concreting Techniques and to explore the testing of various materials for quality concrete.

This visit provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the concrete production process at Ready Mix Concrete plant, from raw material handling to the final product. They got a broad aspect of batching, mixing and transporting the concrete. It emphasized the importance of precision, quality control and environmental responsibility in civil engineering practices. The experience also highlighted the practical challenges faced in the industry, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

This visit was coordinated by Prof. Yogesh Lanjewar, Prof. Kusum Balani & Prof. Akash Kaley accompanied by Mr. Ravikant Chobitkar, Plant Manager and Mr. Manish Polampalli, Senior Technical Officer. Students were very much satisfied with the answers of the questions they received during discussion session.
