On August 3, 2024, our institute had the honor of hosting Dr. Manesh Kokare, the Director of SGGSIE&T. During his visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between SGGSIE&T and our institute to foster collaboration in various academic and research areas, including joint research projects and faculty exchanges. Dr. Kokare delivered an insightful lecture on “Funding Schemes and Proposal Writing”, covering topics such as funding opportunities, proposal writing techniques, and common pitfalls to avoid. The session was highly interactive, with Dr. Kokare addressing queries and sharing practical examples from his extensive experience. Following the lecture, he engaged in a Interaction with the Heads of Departments and Incharges, exploring opportunities for research collaboration, faculty development programs, and curriculum enhancement. His visit was immensely beneficial, providing valuable insights into funding and research collaboration, and marks the beginning of a promising partnership between our institutions.
