On 31 July 2024, a one-day educational visit to VR Jamdar Siemens Centre for Excellence, VNIT Nagpur, was organised by the Department of Mechanical for its 7th Semester students. The students visited all the labs under VR Jamdar Siemens Centre for Excellence. The labs visited included IoT Lab, Reverse Engineering Lab, Automation Lab, Product Design and Validation Lab, Robotics Lab, Mechatronics Lab, CNC Lab, Smart Factory Lab, and Test and Optimisation Lab.

 The lab instructors briefed the students about the machines, infrastructure, and various activities, such as internships and learning programs at VJSCOE, VNIT, and Nagpur. The Event was successfully coordinated by Mechanical Teaching Faculty  Prof. Manish Bhadke, Prof. Anthony Augustine and Prof Namrata Nagpurkar.
