The role of Media and Journalism in technical journey

The Department of Engineering, Science, and Humanities recently hosted a dynamic guest lecture, "The Role of Media and Journalism in Technical Journey," from February 27th to 29th, 2024 for B. Tech second semester students. Held at the 3rd Floor Auditorium, the sessions, led by renowned sound engineer Mr. Alok Kumar, provided a holistic understanding of media's evolving role in the technical realm.

The series commenced with an exploration of the "Revolution and Effects of Media," delving into its profound impact on society. Discussions on "Media - A Boon or a Curse" engaged participants in contemplating the dual nature of media in our lives.

Technical implications were emphasized in "Role of Media in Engineering Education," shedding light on its pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape. Mr. Kumar navigated the nuances of media usage, discussing its positive and negative influences in "Negative and Positive Use of Media."

The series addressed strategic applications in "Branding and Marketing in the Media Landscape," offering practical insights. It concluded with a reflective exploration of the core audience and stakeholders in "Who is the Base of Media."
