The Career Guidance Cell of the Mechanical Engineering department organized an Expert Lecture on "CV Writing for Professionals" on February 23, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Mr. Anil Jain, Business Development Manager at Virtual Simutech Pvt. Ltd, Pune, delivered the lecture.

The expert session was targeted for 4th-semester students of the Mechanical Engineering department, with approximately 40 students in attendance. The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Ghansyam Boob, followed by an introduction of the speaker. Mr. Anil Jain provided brief information about the statistics of job requirements in core mechanical engineering, specifically in CAD-CAE fields.

Furthermore, the speaker explained the importance of a CV, what employers interpret from it, and how students pursuing a professional degree should structure their CVs. He motivated the students to acquire at least one or two skill sets in the CAD-CAE domain to improve their chances of placements. Additionally, he offered internship opportunities to students (both paid and free) at G2G and Virtual Simutech.

The expert lecture was coordinated by Dr. Ghanshyam Boob, Incharge of the Career Guidance Cell.
