Awareness Seminar on CIIIT Activities

The RCOEM-TATA Technologies – Center initiative for Invention, Innovation, Incubation & Training (CIIIT) guided inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs in developing professional and industry-centric technical skills. Individuals from ITI, Diploma, Degree, Post-graduate, PhD research scholars, and industry professionals were welcome to visit, connect, and utilize CIIIT facilities. Dr. Sonkhaskar highlighted that the facility is open to aspirants in the region for technical associations and upgrades, encompassing centers for Innovation Design and Incubation, Integrated Advanced Manufacturing, Machine Learning, and IIoT.

Students were informed about CIIIT activities, offering hands-on exposure to various technologies. RCOEM-TATA CIIIT significantly impacted PG & UG students by fostering design, development, and fabrication of innovative products, enhancing employment opportunities.

Dr. Sonkhaskar outlined the initiatives' objectives for students:

1. Promote Invention, Innovation, and Incubation under industry expert mentorship.

2. Strengthen the Government’s Vision & Mission of innovation entrepreneurship and skill development.

3. Enable Industry-Academia partnerships for future skill impartation.

4. Leverage advanced competency centers and industry SME expertise to train students, industry professionals, and unemployed youth with industry-relevant skills.

5. Enable competency development in modern engineering tools for product design, development, and manufacturing, providing insights into Industry 4.0 and other disruptive technologies.
