Expert Session on How to Read and Write Research Papers and Ethics in Publications

The department of Mechanical Engineering hosted a valuable expert session as part of its ongoing series of lectures on diverse aspects of B.Tech final year projects, on February 13, 2024, from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm.

The session, titled "How to read and write research papers and the ethics followed in publications," featured Dr. Minhaj Ahemad, Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering department, as the distinguished resource person. Attended by final year students, the event delved into essential skills for comprehending research papers, extracting findings, and crafting effective literature reviews.

Dr. Minhaj also provided comprehensive guidance on the research paper writing and publication process, emphasizing the ethical considerations crucial in academic publications. The lecture was coordinated by Dr. V.C. Sontake, Project Coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering department. The expert talk proved instrumental in enhancing students' insights into research methodologies and ethical practices in academic writing.
