Public Speaking and Personality Development
The department of Engineering, Sciences, and Humanities orchestrated a dynamic session on “Public Speaking and Personality Development”, for all B.Tech first year students on February 13th, 14th & 15th, from 2:15 to 4:15 pm at the Mufti-facility centre as per allotted slots. The workshop aimed to fortify participants' communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen focus on refining public speaking abilities, building confidence, and fostering overall personality development.
Ms. Priyanka Sharma, a seasoned expert in communication and personality development, brought a wealth of experience to the workshop, infusing her sessions with a compelling presence and engaging teaching style. The event featured two-hour interactive sessions each day, attracting a considerable audience of approximately 720 students. These sessions were thoughtfully designed to be informative, engaging, and participatory, providing attendees with a conducive environment to practice and hone their newfound skills.
This workshop garnered widespread praise from both students and teachers. Key takeaways from the session included the enhancement of public speaking skills, bolstered self-confidence and self-esteem, strategies for effective communication, insights into personality development, and practical tips for overcoming stage fear.
This event was successfully coordinated by Prof. Pallavi Deshpande under the guidance of Dr. S. Mohrair, Incharge, ES&H.
