India had played a significant role in 5G Deployment. However, still It lagged a little behind in 5G technology Innovations and 5G Standard evolution in comparison to other technology-focused countries e.g. USA, China, South Korea etc.

Govt of India wants that India should lead 6G wave from beginning. 

The IoT Academy and upSkill Campus, in collaboration with EICT Academy, IITG and many other Industrial and Academic partners are organizing "5G-6G Talks" (Online and Free Participation). It would also cover outcomes of IMC2023 (India Mobile Congress 2023), inaugurated by Honorable PM Shri Narendra Modi.
