National Sports Day Celebration

The SVPCET Sports and National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm and fervour from August 21 to August 29, 2023. The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

National Sports Day is celebrated annually on August 29th in India to honour the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player who contributed significantly to Indian sports. Chess Tournament: In addition to traditional sports, a chess tournament was organized to cater to the strategic and analytical minds among the SVPCET students. Chess enthusiasts showcased their skills, competing in an intellectually stimulating environment.
