AI VERSE 1.0

The Department of Artificial Intelligence organised AI VERSE 1.0, on November 4. In all 317 students registered for the event. The major objectives of this event were to share the latest AI developments, trends, and best practices, showcase innovative AI projects and solutions and provide practical skills through workshops and hands-on sessions.

The inauguration was graced by Mr. Shakal Shukla, Senior Project Manager at Claim Genius India Pvt Ltd, Nagpur, and Fr. James Thomas, Asst. Director, SVPCET.

AI VERSE 1.0 featured 5 events, including 3 technical and 2 techno-fun events:

1. OptiML: Participants built ML models from scratch based on datasets.

   Registrations: 65 | Participants: 35 | Headcount: 35

2. BeatBots: A fun event where participants created music and melodies using AI.

   Registrations: 108 | Participants: 60 | Headcount: 76

3. GigaGen: A creative event where participants generated comic books and videos based on prompts.

   Registrations: 273 | Participants: 125 | Headcount: 155

4. Cubic Realm: A gaming event where participants created and explored block realms in Minecraft.

   Registrations: 32 | Participants: 13 | Headcount: 19

5. VentureVista.AI: A start-up event where participants presented technology-driven ideas and displayed them in canopies using SOS.

   Registrations: 46 | Participants: 25 | Headcount: 32

The event GigaGen received sponsorship of Rs. 5000 from the Tron School of Animation, known for its quality education in animation, visual effects, gaming, filmmaking, multimedia, web design, graphic design, AR/VR and more.

Prof. Pooja Wagh served as the faculty coordinator for AI VERSE 1.0, with Anshula Mendhe and Harshad Kshirsagar as the student coordinator and co-coordinator, respectively.
