Teachers` Day Celebration

Teachers` Day celebrated on 5th September each year on the occasion of birthday  of  Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a staunch believer of education and a well known diplomat, visionary, statesman, scholar, President of India who was also known as an amazing teacher of his time.

Teachers mould the lives of the students by guiding them, by enriching their personalities, by imparting ethical and moral values and have more influence on them. Teachers` Day was celebrated by the students of Civil Engineering Department on 5th September to express their gratitude for the immense contribution put forth by their teachers towards their development. Teachers are the cornerstone of students’ future.

On the day as every years`s ritual of students playing as their favorite teachers role for a day, final year students taught various subjects to second year, third year and final year students.

Dr. C. S. Deshpande, Head Civil Engineering Department expressed his views on this special day. He appreciated students for arranging this program and asked the students to organize more events in coming days.

Students also expressed their gratitude towards the teachers by giving short speeches. All the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the program also fun games were organized by the students.

All in all, it was celebration mode for everyone !

This program was well organized, managed & executed by Civil Engineering Students executive body (Sthaapatya) and it was coordinated by Prof. Yogesh S. Lanjewar, faculty Coordinator of the student executive body (Sthaapatya).

At the end, the efforts of all the teaching and non-teaching staff members were acknowledged. The program concluded of the department with the cake cutting.
