Industrial Faculty Training at Konverge.AI, IT Park, Nagpur

Konverge.AI, a leading provider of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions, conducted total of 40 hours faculty industrial training program for 3 (three) days offline from 23/08/2023 to 25/08/2023 at its IT Park in Nagpur for 12 faculty members of St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur.

The program was aimed to give glimpse of IT industry in using JIRA project management tool (trial version) and Dataiku analytical tool for AI/ML project, to the faculty members.

The training program covered the topics such as Introduction to JIRA, Project planning and tracking in JIRA, Introduction to Dataiku, Data preparation using Dataiku & Data Science, AI/ML prject case study using in Dataiku.

Mr. Ketan Paithankar, Co-Founder, had taken few of the sessions on discussing the solutions on some of the interesting case studies provided by their team memmebrs. The training program was well-received by the faculty members who participated in it. They appreciated the opportunity to learn from industry experts and understand the IT culture & its approach towards defining the problem. The training program was conducted by a team of experienced trainers like Mr. Sarang, Mr. Yogesh Joshirao and Mr. Sajal Saxena from Konverge.AI. The trainers have extensive experience in using toools like JIRA, Trello and Dataiku in real-world projects. The training program was a great success and it helped the faculty members to acquire the skills.

The Faculty Industrial training was organized by Institute level III-C, SVPCET, Nagpur under the mentorship of Dr. M.V. Bramhe, Coordinator, Prof. R.C. Roychaudhary, Co-coordinator, Prof. Vishal Tiwari and Prof. M. Buradkar, member of the team.

The training program was attended by Prof. Akash Kaley from Civil dept, Prof. Reema Roychaudhary, Prof. Ansar Sheikh, Dr. Yogesh Golhar & Prof. Dhirajkumar Gupta from CE dept, Prof. Vishal Tiwari, Prof. Shankar Gadve & Prof. Shubhangi Chaware from IT dept, Prof. Pooja Wagh from AI dept, Dr. Deepali Borakhade & Prof. Mrunalini Buradkar from ETC dept and Prof. Nilesh Mendhe from EE department.
