Industrial Visit to NRSC,ISRO, NAC & LED Chip Indus Pvt. Ltd.,Hyderabad

The department of Basic Sciences & Humanities had organised a three-day industrial visit from 10th June to 13th June 2023 for the second-semester B.Tech students. The visit was held at three locations: the National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC), the National Academy Construction NAC, and LED Chip Indus Pvt. Ltd., all situated in Hyderabad.

The objectives of this industrial visit were to provide the students with practical exposure to remote sensing, the functioning of navigation national satellites, and comprehensive technical knowledge about LED chips.

During the NRSC and ISRO visit, Dr. Shankar Prasad and his team graciously guided the students, providing them with valuable insights. Additionally, the students of civil department had the opportunity to learn about construction materials, their formation, and composition at National Academy Construction(NAC) and the students of Electronics & Telecommunication received great insights regarding LED chips at LED Chip Indus Pvt. Ltd.

A total of 61 students participated in the visit, out of which 25 were from the Civil Department, and 36 were from the Electronics and Telecommunication Department. The students were accompanied by Dr. Ashish Bodhaye, Dr. Kiran Khandarkar, Prof. Satish Kene, Prof. Aishwarya Verma and Prof. Shakuntala Yadav.
