Industrial Visit to Indore
The Department of Information Technology had organised a fruitful two-day industrial visit from June 8th to 9th, 2023, with the participation of 44 students, accompanied by Prof. Shubhnagi Chaware and Prof. Shankar Gadhve. The purpose of this visit was to explore the practical applications of software development in IT industries.
The first destination on the itinerary was the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Indore. During their visit to IIT, the students gained valuable insights into the latest research and witnessed advanced technology projects being executed at the institute. This exposure proved to be highly beneficial for the students, as it will not only assist them in their ongoing project work but also contribute to their preparations for higher studies.
Next on the list was CODIENT, a leading mobility and custom web-development company. Here, the students had the opportunity to learn about various steps involved in web and software development. CODIENT's commitment to designing flexible solutions that cater to the specific needs of their customers left a lasting impression on the students.
The final company visited during the industrial visit was STPI (Software Technology Parks of India), an autonomous society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The professionals at STPI provided valuable insights into various networking devices and cables while excelling in their provision of private networks to numerous organizations.
Overall, the industrial visit provided the students with invaluable knowledge and a deeper understanding of Software Industries and technology.
