The Electrical Engineering department organized a one-day industry visit on June 30th, 2023, for the fourth-semester B.Tech students. The visit took place at the MAHATRANSCO- 220 kV Butibori substation, located in the Butibori MIDC area of Nagpur. The main objectives of the visit were to provide students with exposure to power transmission substations and to enhance their report-writing skills based on observations made at the substation. This visit was an integral part of their practical coursework on industry visits, report writing, and seminars.

A total of 62 students, accompanied by faculty members and non-teaching staff, had the opportunity to visit the substation. Mr. N. W. Chandrayan, the incharge of the substation and Dy. Executive Engineer, along with his team, graciously guided the students during the visit. Prof. M. B. Maurya and Dr. G. S. Gadge expressed their appreciation by felicitating the MAHATRANSCO officials for sharing their valuable expertise with the students.
