The Mechanical Engineering Department organized a farewell function for the outgoing final year students of Batch 2022-23. The event took place on June 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the F-12 Auditorium of Block A, SVPCET.

Dr. S. S. Satputaley, Incharge of the Admission Cell at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, addressed the function. He advised the students to pursue their future careers with sincerity and dedication, whether in jobs or higher studies, by following a well-defined plan.

Prof. S.V. Deo encouraged the students to confidently continue their careers and to keep the department updated on their achievements. Dr. A.R. Bhende advised meticulous career planning, especially for government jobs that require years of dedication to crack the exams. Dr. G.R. Boob emphasized that students should feel free to seek guidance regarding their careers and to have confidence in pursuing core jobs. Prof. P.R. Bhagat and Prof. Namrata A. Nagpurkar, as class counselors, advised the students to pursue their careers sincerely and honestly.

During the function, the final year students shared nostalgic experiences from their college life and expressed gratitude to the department, faculty, classmates, and non-teaching staff for their guidance and motivation.

The achievers were felicitated in various categories, including RTMNU Examinations rankers in different semesters, winners of BAJA SAEINDIA 2023, winners in extracurricular activities, and placed students.

The farewell function was attended by the faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering Department and approximately 98 final year students of B.E. Mechanical Engineering.

The coordination of the farewell function was managed by Prof. M.S. Khan, Prof. Namrata A. Nagpurkar, Prof. P.R. Bhagat, Dr. A. Hayat and  Prof. A.K. Saxena from the Mechanical Engineering Department.
