Parent-Teacher Interaction for 3rd Semester students

The Parent-Teacher Interaction event for 3rd Semester engineering students was held on 10th February 2023 at SVPCET. The event was organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence with the aim of fostering better communication between parents and teachers, and to give the parents an insight into their child's academic progress.

The event started with a welcome speech by the Department Incharge, Prof. Vikas Bhowate, who emphasized the importance of parent-teacher interaction and the role it plays in the overall development of the students. He also talked about the college's commitment to providing quality education and creating an environment that promotes academic excellence. Further Prof. Pooja Wagh, class counsellor of 3rd sem discussed various activities and students achievements with the parents. She also explained the expectation of department from the students. She also share future planning  with the parents.

It was followed by interactive one-on-one sessions between the faculty and parents. The faculty provided an overview of the curriculum, teaching methodology, expectations from the students and students’ performance in academic and extracurricular activities.The parents could ask any doubts and queries they have regarding college related issues.

The event, attended by 17 parents, was a platform for better communication and understanding between the parents and teachers. It helped in strengthening the relationship between the two important stakeholders and provided an opportunity for the parents to learn more about their child's education. The college plans to hold such events regularly to keep the parents updated on their child's academic progress.
