The Career Guidance Cell, Department of Mechanical Engineering had organized an Alumni interaction on “Career in Marine Engineering in Merchant Navy” on 21^st Nov2022 at 2:00 pm. Mr. Saurav Das, Junior Engineer officer, M.V. FMG Northern Spirit, VLOC, delivered the lecture. 55 students from Final year, Mechanical Engineering attended the session. Prof. H.G. Nagpure welcomed the speaker and introduced him to the audience.

Mr. Saurav Das briefed students on the opportunities in Merchant Navy and why to consider it as a career option. He also spoke about the minimum requirements and the details of the entrance exams. This interaction was coordinated by Dr. Ghanshyam Boob, Incharge, Career Guidance Cell.
