St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur hosted TECHNORION, the 26^th edition of the Zonal Techfest of IIT Bombay on 8^th October 2022. IIT Bombay conducts Zonal Techfest every year in five different zones and this year Nagpur was chosen as the initiator of this prestigious event.

The objective of Zonal Techfest is to provide a platform to all students nationwide and invite them to be a part of the Techfest that is held at IIT Bombay. Technical programs namely Cozmo Clench, Meshmerise, Co Decode, Olympiad and Youth Innovator were organized at this event where students were expected to make robotic models, participate in coding etc. Total 759 participants  participated in various events from Nagpur.

Fr. James Thomas, Assistant Director addressed the students at the inaugural function, encouraged and congratulated them for being a part of the Zonal Techfest of IIT Bombay.  Dr. S.V. Gole, Principal, Prof. R.B. Gowardhan, Institute mentor and core team from IIT Bombay were present at the inauguration. All the participants showcased their extraordinary talent with a competitive spirit maintaining utmost discipline at Pallotti premises. The finalists of the Zonal Techfest, Nagpur will now participate in Techfest, IIT-Bombay which will be held in December at Bombay.
