The Department of Information Technology had organized a demonstration on “Tableau tools” on 28th September 2022, from 2 to 4 pm. Mr. Sanket Joshi, Chief technology officer of Logic unlock Solutions LLP, Nagpur, and visiting Assistant Professor in SVPCET, Nagpur was invited as an Industry Expert.

He thoroughly explained and gave a demonstration on the tableau tools. Mr. Sanket told the students about the “Tableau Dekstop test” which is a certified exam used in analytics and Business Intelligence. He further explained how to use Tableau for various data visualization and how the knowledge of Tableau helps them to create effective graphs required for data analysis.

Mr. Sanket shared the importance of Tableau and SQL and also compared between Tableau and Power BI tools. Through this session, students realised the importance of these tools and the opportunities available to them. The speaker addressed all the queries at the end.
