Parents Teacher Interaction
The Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities had organized a Parent-Teacher Interaction on Saturday 10th September 2022 for parents of 2nd semester students.
Fr. Dr. Paul Chandrakunnel, Director, SVPCET welcomed the parents and formally interacted with them. He shared the importance of communication between parents and their wards, which in turn will help in building a better teacher and parent connection. Fr. James Thomas, Asst. Director, SVPCET was present on the occasion.
During the formal function, B.Tech First Semester, Overall toppers, section-wise toppers and subject-wise toppers were felicitated and were awarded cash prizes. Winners of the Poster Competition were also declared and were awarded cash prizes. The function ended with a formal vote of thanks by Prof. Namrata Gore, First Year Incharge.
After the formal function, parents had a one-on-one interaction with their class counselor, subject teachers, and first year incharge to learn about their ward's progress in academics and engagement in extracurricular and co-curricular activities. They were further counseled on the areas of improvement.
In the feedback form, parents shared suggestions and also appreciated the work of the department. In all 318 parents attended the PTI and refreshments were provided to all.
Prof. Namrata Gore, First Year Incharge, Prof. Sayali Kanhav and Prof. Ayesha Naaz Khan (PTI Coordinators), Prof. Rajshree Anwane, Academic Coordinator, Prof Ashish Bodhaye, Co&Extra Curricular Coordinator along with the entire team of BS&H department, student volunteers put in their best efforts to make this interaction a success.
