The Department of Mechanical Engineering had organized an industrial visit to Shree Lakshmi Narayan Industries Pvt. Ltd (Water Tank Manufacturer) SZ-21, MIDC, Butibori, Industrial Area, Nagpur  for 5^th Semester students on 5^th  and 7^th September 2022.

Raj Tanks, Estab. in  1993, now Nagpur Shree Lakshmi Narayan Industries Pvt Ltd is a Limited Company, manufacturing water tanks.  Under the guidance of Mr. Gautam, Plant Manager, the students went through details of raw materials used in plastic water tank manufacturing. They also witnessed the stages through which manufacturing of water storage tanks is done in capacities of 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 5000 liters. The students explored the differences in working process, production capacities of various plastic moulding machines such as Blow moulding, Injection moulding etc. The students also gained knowledge about quality control process and the packaging and despatch methods.
