Department of Mechanical Engineering had organized an alumni talk on 21st Feb, 2022 for 6th semester students. Mr.Shaunak Kulkarni, MBA student, ISB and an alumnus, 2016 batch was invited to share his experience and journey so far. Mr.Shaunak Kulkarni has worked internationally on oil and gas projects for 2.8 years and then decided to pursue his full time MBA. He is now a student at International School of Business, which is ranked 23^rd in the Financial Times and his GMAT score was 770.

Mr.Shaunak Kulkarni, emphasized on the importance of decision making and deciding early on the sector students want to work on; manufacturing, oil, gas or software. He spoke about the importance of building a portfolio and sticking to it. He also conducted a small activity on commonly asked interview questions and gave them tips on CV building and developing spoken English.

The session proved to be beneficial for all the students.
