Mechanical Engineering organized a Parent – Teachers Interactive Meet on 6th February 2022 at 10:00 am via Google meet for  3^rd Semester. Dr. M. Athar Hayat welcomed the parents and presented the Institute and department Mission-Vision. In his address, the Head of the Mechanical Department, Dr. P. B. Lanjewar, briefed parents about NAAC and autonomous status acquired by the institute. He also apprised the parents about the NBA Committee visit to the department and thanked parents who were present during the NBA committee visit. He informed parents about the sessional examination, which is approaching soon.

Academic coordinator Dr. Sushant Satputaley briefed parents about academics, syllabus coverage, and examination pattern for the coming examination. He also informed parents about the skill development courses conducted by the department.

In the Open discussion forum, Parents discussed their queries in detail and inquired about the mode of exam conduction: online/ offline, mode of class conduction: offline/ online, bus facilities when offline classes start, etc.

Dr. P. B. Lanjewar assured parents that both modes of classes would be offered to 3^rd Semester students at the moment up to university exams. Along with Academic coordinator Dr. Sushant Satputaley, he encouraged the parents of non-vaccinated students to go for double vaccination. After university exams, all students may switch to an offline teaching mode in the fourth semester. Third-semester Class Counsellors Dr. M. Athar Hayat and Mr. Anthony Augustine, and subject teachers Dr. Kirti Sahu, Prof. Pramodkumar Borle, Prof. Shantanu Kolharkar, and Prof. Namrata Nagpurkar, actively participated in the discussions. 47 Parents and their wards participated in the meet.
