75 Food ration packets containing rice, pulses and edibles were distributed on 23^rd December 2021, among the needy residents of Parsodi, Rui and Gavsi village, on the occasion of Christmas. These villages are adopted by our Institute under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. India.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Director, Fr. Dr. Paul Chandrankunnel, Assistant Director, Fr.James Thomas. Members of the college management, Principal, Dr. Surendra Gole, Institute Mentor, Prof R.B.Gowardhan and Financial Administrator, Fr. Siju Jose, members of the Gram Panchayat, Dr. Ashlesha Nagpure, NSS Unit Program Officer, Dr. Hema Kala Electronics & Telecommunication, Faculty Co-ordinator, Prof Trivelli S. Naidu, Electrical Engineering, Faculty Co-ordinator, Mr. Yogesh S. Lanjewar, Civil Engineering, Faculty Co-ordinator, staff and NSS student volunteers were present during the distribution.

The distribution project was implemented by the NSS Unit and was funded by “Pallotti Bread”, Nagpur. An initiative of The Nagpur Pallottine Society that supports BPL and marginalized families without ration card, living on pavements and slums in and around Nagpur city.
