Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities had organized a webinar on “Future Aspects of Quantum Computing”, for the students of our college, on 22^nd Dec 2020 on account of “National Mathematics Day”. Dr. Prasanna Kulkarni, RCOEM, Nagpur was the resource person. He spoke about various applications of quantum computing; like Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and their emerging technologies and also about its relevance in multiple disciplines. He impressively explained how Linear Algebra can be used in quantum computing. The webinar was arranged by Prof. Atish Gour and in all 52 students attended the webinar. It ended with an interesting question and answer session.
