The Career Guidance Cell, organized a webinar on “BS-VI Emission Norms Implementation in Commercial Vehicles” in association with Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) at our college recently. Mr. Pramod Nichat, Ex.Assist. General Manager Ashok Leyland & External Faculty PCRA, addressed the students as a resource person. He familiarized the students about how the automotive industry is transforming and evolving rapidly to meet the current emission norms. He introduced new concepts like exhaust gas treatment and regeneration techniques to the students. A question and answer session with the expert encouraged students to be ready to innovate and gain more knowledge into these latest trends in the automotive industry that would prove to be efficient yet environment friendly. The event was coordinated by Department of Mechanical Engineering and the formal vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. G.R.Boob.
